I first learned about Strange Fruit Project in the days before blogs ruled hip-hop. In order to learn about new hip-hop I would head down to Fat Beats and ask all the DJ's "whats that new hotness?" One day I walked out with a Strange Fruit Project single and it became a staple on those mixes for the discerning hip hop fan.After a short hiatus - Strange Fruit Project is back with an EP entitled, M.A.S.K. (Making Art Sound Kool) - in stores November 17th.
