I Will Crush You

Via Nathan and Uni Watch...

The NHL recently played their annual "Winter Classic" - a game held outside - smack in the middle of the Chicago Cub's Wrigley Field.

Here is a pretty cool time lapse video clip of the construction of the rink...

You might think this is pretty cool and you might not at all...however, recently the Kontinental Hockey League, which is primarily Russian, staged their all-star game in Moscow - in the middle of the Red Square!

YOU SHOULD THINK THIS IS COOL.

If you don't know much about the Red Square - simply know that it is one of the most famous city squares in the world and is surrounded by the Kremlin, St Basil's Cathedral, and Lenin's Mausoleum.

St Basil's is the Cathedral that has the legend where Ivan the Terrible asks the architect if he could build another Cathedral just like it and when the architect says "why not," Ivan the Terrible has his eyes removed. I always thought that was cool.

And Lenin's Mausoleum is a tomb where Lenin's body floats in a tub of chemicals - its straight creepy.

During the one week I spent in Moscow I was almost arrested twice right about where the guy with the puck is...
